Chimney of former coal mine, Buckland Dinham, Somerset

This is a chimney from the site of a disused colliery. It was probably only worked in the 1880s. This was the most easterly colliery on the former Somerset Coalfield.It was abandoned after a very short working life. It is an unusual survival in a now completely rural area.
