Dorchester Abbey, High Street, Dorchester, Oxfordshire

Dorchester Abbey was an important centre and housed a shrine to the Saxon St Birinus. The east window, seen here, combines stained glass with carved scenes from the life of Christ; the glass dates from circa 1300.
