Downton Castle, Downton, Herefordshire

View of the north-west side of Downton Castle, showing two round castellated towers and an octagonal tower. It is a country house that was designed and built between 1772 and 1778, by Richard Payne Knight. It is an asymmetrically composed mansion, decorated in a picturesque, irregular Gothic style with towers and battlements.
