New Quay, New Quay Street, Teignmouth, Devon

The quay was built in 1820 for George Templar of Stover. It was built so that Hay Tor granite could be exported to London for the construction of the new London Bridge. The quay is itself built from Hay Tor granite and Plymouth limestone. It is approximately 40m wide and projects approximately 50m into the sea.
