Nottingham General Hospital, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire

Built in 1781-2 to designs by John Simpson, the General was a two-storey, classical style building. Numerous additions were made in the late 18th century, 19th century and 20th century, including the Jubilee Wing pictured. The hospital closed in the early 1990s.
