The Rising Sun public house after the 'Fenian' bomb of 30 May 1884. It shows the the windows blown out. Staff are standing beside a damaged carriage lying in a pile of rubble. The bomb was planted during a bombing campaign carried out between 1883-1885 by the 'Fenians', 19th century Irish Nationalists.
