Bradwell Abbey is a Scheduled Monument, preserving the site and remains of a medieval Benedictine Priory. It is nationally significant because it contains the greater part of the medieval precinct of a priory, a relatively unusual survival, and a rare dedicated pilgrimage chapel with stunning contemporary wall paintings.

Opening Arrangements

Grounds open to public 12 hours per day. Chapel by appointment and monthly for set tours. Buildings and facilities open for specific advertised events or by appointment. Office hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm.
