St James Church, Upper Parliament Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, L8 1UR

Grade II* listed church built in 1775 of red brick and sandstone. Norman inspired exterior with a Georgian interior, and notable for its early use of cast iron columns. After a long period of closure the building is now back in use as an Anglican church.

Opening Arrangements

Sunday service - 10am-12noon and 3:30pm-6pm; Monday - dance class 5:15pm-6pm, student group 7pm-9pm; Thursday - toddler group 10am-12noon, youth group 6:30pm-8pm. Various community events throughout the year – please see website for details.
