St Mary the Virgin, Horsham Lane, Upchurch, Swale, Kent ME9 7AL

There has been a church on this site since at least 1100. The tower and oak-shingled spire is a striking feature, the "candle snuffer" spire being unusual. Inside a wall painting of St Spiridon, 15th century tiles, two 15th century brasses, medieval glass and many other notable carvings.
