St Mary the Virgin, Middleton-on-the-Hill

St Mary the Virgin, Middleton-on-the-Hill, Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 4BE

Grade I listed 12th century church in the Norman style. It is surrounded by farm land and serves the hamlet of Middleton. The tower dates from the 13th century and contains three bells. There is a lantern memorial in the graveyard to commemorate the status of being a 'Thankful Village'.
