Grade I listed Church (CofE). Founded c 1170. Formerly the Church at the gate to the Benedictine Abingdon Abbey. Historic ring of 6 bells.

Opening Arrangements

Open for: Services on Sunday mornings (and occasionally other times). Usually Mondays 10-12. Heritage Open Days (September); Ride & Stride (September). To coincide with other special events in Abingdon (at least 5-6 days a year). For public events such as art. For sales and other fundraising events (organized by both church and other charities). For schools' visits, and group and individual visitors by arrangement. Visiting bell ringers. We try to publicise our public opening times on external noticeboards, our website, and sometimes also on Facebook & Instagram We encourage the opening of the main doors (which open straight onto a major thoroughfare) whenever there are people in church to steward
