Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, High Street, Rusper - Horsham
Medieval church founded in the 13th Century but almost completely rebuilt in 1855. Comprising a chancel with north vestry, nave with aisles, south porch and west tower. Of local Wealden stone with heavy buttresses, the church is graded for its good medieval tower. There are serious structural issues in the north aisle. There are large cracks with daylight visible in some areas. The area is being investigated by a structural engineer and underpinning may be needed. Adjacent trees, poor ground or poor construction may all be causes.
