Church of St Thomas of Canterbury and the English Martyrs, Magdalen Road, Hastings - Hastings

Built in 1889 by Charles Alban Buckler with an interior scheme by Nathaniel Westlake, 1908 and 1911 which is deteriorating due to water penetration caused by inappropriate external pointing, poor rainwater disposal and the roof requiring repairs. Some roof repairs have recently (2023) been carried out and the cement plaster removed and repaired with lime mortar. The walls are being monitored for drying out, but the conservation of the wall paintings remains to be done.
