Christ Church, Church Road, Christchurch - Fenland
Grade ll listed church built c1870 in early English style. Red brick masonry walls with bands of black brick and a steeply pitched slate roof with crested ridge tiles and a timber bell-cote over the crossing. The nave is comprised of two bays, divided by two-stage buttresses, each with two lancets. The bay to the West has a gabled brick porch with stone colonettes to the outer arch. There is a gabled chapel to the North and South and an apse chancel. The church has been closed for health and safety reasons with falling plaster from the nave ceiling. Ineffective drainage requires overhaul.
