Church of St John, Church Street, Goole - East Riding of Yorkshire (UA)
An early Victorian church with a central tower and spire, dominating the skyline of Goole. The stonework to the upper part of the tower is eroding. The chancel roof has been re-covered with a grant from the Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund and is now in good condition. The south slope of the nave roof has been re-covered and other repairs have been undertaken. Further reroofing and repairs to the spire are planned. Work has been carried out to increase use of the church by the community.
