Bunksland Farmhouse and attached outbuildings, East Anstey - North Devon
A remarkably unspoilt medieval farmhouse, multiphased, with a surviving early roof structure and interesting plan form. The property was vacant from 2009 and suffered from deterioration and leaning of the external walls as well as the collapse of an internal cob partition. Historic England supported North Devon District Council to serve an Urgent Works Notice which enabled propping and protection work to be carried out. The building was sold and consent given for extensive repairs, however these have not been implemented and the property is now on the market again.
