Church of St Peter and St Paul, Dereham Road, Scarning - Breckland

Parish church. Medieval and later. Flint with ashlar and some brick dressings. Slate and plain tile roofs. West tower; aisleless nave with south porch. Chancel with vestry to south. C15 west tower with diagonal buttresses. Flushwork panelling to plinth and buttresses. Canted stair turret to south. High level parapets in very poor condition, large stones are beginning to come loose and there is water ingress at defective rainwater spouts on the tower causing deterioration to walls below.
