Church of St Benedict, Church Lane, Scrivelsby - East Lindsey
Situated in an open field. The church dates from C13 and C15, with chancel and nave and an arcaded Early English north aisle. To the north west end is the tower and spire built from Ancaster limestone in the 1860s. The building exterior was remodelled in the 1860s and 1870s. Nave and north aisle roofs need re-slating. The church is damp. Below ground drainage needs repair. A National Lottery Heritage Fund grant was awarded in December 2019 to address the roof and rainwater goods. These works were completed in 2021. Monitoring of structural issues to the chancel is ongoing.
