Church of St Mary, West Charlton - Somerset Council (UA)

Parish church. C13 origins, but restored in 1792-1794 and in 1847. Local lias stone cut and squared, with Ham stone ashlar dressings. Stone slate roof between coped gables. Signs in the churchyard warning of the danger of slipping roof slates. All roofs need recovering as the fixings have rusted and the stone tiles are laminating.
