Church of St Michael, Shebbear - Torridge

Rural Devon church. Most significant feature is mid-C12 south doorway. Plain nave and south aisle; simple rendered tower. Damp interior with carpet hiding salt damage to floor. Prone to vegetation growth in the external ground gutter and there is a poor vestry valley gutter arrangement, worsening the internal problems. The roof is poor and is likely to require recovering in the forseeable future.
