Church of St Mary the Virgin, Church Lane, Chislet - Canterbury
Church with Norman nave and tower and later C13 chancel and aisles. Cement render on both north and south sides is defective and coming away. Coursed rubble walls contain loose material particularly on south side and deterioration of quoins to south side of tower. Substantial ivy coverage to east end. Hoppers need unblocking and some guttering on north side is failing. The building has been the victim of heritage crime.
