Church of the Holy Trinity, Trinity Street, Huddersfield - Kirklees
Gothic style parish church of 1816 to 1819 by Leeds architect Thomas Taylor, built to serve the growing population housed in the middle class villas and terraces of the surrounding area. Roof defects are causing localised deterioration of internal finishes and decorations. Repairs to the south nave and south aisle roofs completed in 2017 with a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund's former Grants for Places of Worship scheme. A further phase of work is required to repair the remaining roofs. Some repairs have recently been undertaken to the tower.
