English Garden House, Maker-with-Rame - Cornwall (UA)
An early C18 Classical garden house, located within Mount Edgcumbe Estate, now a Country Park. Originally a banquetting house, subsequently extended to include a sunken marble bath and additional rooms as a garden building for entertaining and leisure. Water ingress has caused damage to historic fabric, including plasterwork and wall paper. The building is currently used for storage, although Historic England are working with the owners for a grant aided temporary weatherproofing repairs.
