Church of St Peter, Yoxford Road, Sibton - East Suffolk
Medieval, restored 1872. Nave, Chancel, North Aisle, West Tower, South Porch, North Vestry. Random flint and stone rubble, knapped flint to lower part of Chancel; stone dressings; plain tiled roofs. Very good C15 seven-bay hammerbeam roof to Nave which has a significant death watch beetle infestation and movement of joints. Urgent investigation required. Minor Repair Grant from the Taylor Review Pilot was received in 2019 to help with the repair and replacement of rainwater goods. Church far drier due to these improvements. Recent work to tower.
