Church of St Mary, Church Lane, Yaxley - Mid Suffolk

Parish Church. C14 and located at the centre of the village. Nave, south aisle, chancel and tower. Significant restoration carried out in C19 by EL Blackburne under the aegis of the Incumbent. There appears to be significant issues relating to structural movement at the east end. Cracking evident on all three sides of the Chancel; some lintols dislocating; glazing pulling out of glazing grooves as a result. There is a small flying buttress on the south side which is near to collapse. Poor rainwater goods. South aisle roof temporarily covered.
