Church of St Mary, Church Lane, Yaxley - Mid Suffolk
Parish Church, C14 and located at the centre of the village. Significant restoration carried out in C19 by EL Blackburne under the aegis of the Incumbent. There appears to be significant issues relating to structural movement at the east end. Cracking evident on all three sides of the Chancel; some lintels dislocating; glazing pulling out of glazing grooves. There is a small flying buttress on the south side which is near to collapse. Poor rainwater goods. South aisle roof temporarily covered. A Minor Repair Grant from the Taylor Review Pilot was received in 2019 to help with repair to windows
