Church of St Botolph, London Road, Coldwaltham, Horsham - Horsham
A small rural church from the late C11 comprising nave and chancel, with a C19 north porch and bell-turret. Built of lime-washed rubble with a plain clay tiled roof. The church has an almost complete set of early C12 fresco wall paintings. These were first discovered in the mid C19 and progressively revealed and conserved using varying techniques throughout the C20. The church is at risk due to the deteriorating condition of the wall paintings. A programme of monitoring, analysis and conservation is required
