Church of St Mary, Church Road, Aston Somerville - Wychavon

Small rural parish church at the edge of a village. Simple plan of chancel, nave, tower and north porch. Stone slate roof and limestone ashlar and rubble walls. C13 with C14 additions. A major crack on the east gable end (now repointed with lime mortar) is symptomatic of serious structural movement in the chancel, which is still active. The church is now reported to be closed for worship.
