Church of St Stephen and All Martyrs, St Stephen's Street, Oldham - Oldham
Church of 1873 by Mitchell of Oldham. Rock-faced stone walls with ashlar dressings, and slate roofs with stone-coped gables and cross apex finials. Four phases of work have been completed: the roofs in 2006; the clerestory wall in 2013; and the tower in 2014. The latest phase of masonry and making good the interior completed in October 2018. A Minor Repair Grant from the Taylor Review Pilot was received in 2019 to help with roof maintenance. Further wall stabilisation is required.
