Walled garden gate piers to Central north-south Lane, Henderskelfe - Ryedale

Pairs of monumental gate piers crossing the walled garden at Castle Howard, probably by Vanbrugh. The stonework is suffering from the effects of rusting iron cramps and frost damage. A programme of repair has been identified.
