Church of St Mary, Canterbury Road, Wingham - Dover

Church dating to c1200 with C13 chancel, C14 tower and C16 nave and aisle. Restored 1874-5 by Benjamin Ferrey, particularly the chancel. Some repairs were carried out to the tower gutter and stair turret a few years ago. Further repairs are needed including stonework around the church, the porch roof, and the bases of the timber arcade columns which are rotting. Some soakaways have been added on the south side of the church, and some pew platforms have been repaired.
