Church of All Saints, Church Lane, Croughton - South Northamptonshire

Parish church of coursed limestone rubble built C12 to C14. The Chancel was rebuilt without a chancel arch in 1830. The interior contains an important series of C14 wall paintings; scenes form 'Life of Christ' in the aisles and fragments of a 'Last Judgement' at east end of the nave. The church has been subject to heritage crime. The wall paintings are at risk from water ingress. There are slipped and displaced slates on the porch roof. The congregation is keen to effect repairs.
