Church of St Bartholomew, Guntons Road, Newborough - Peterborough, City of (UA)

A small fenland church completed in 1830, on land drained from the C17 onwards. Gothic yellow brick with slate roofs. Nave, short chancel tower and south porch. The building has suffered from structural movement, possibly due to ground shrinkage over time. The floor structure is deflecting and inadequate drainage is likely contributing. Historic England have visited and provided strategic advice.
