Church of All Saints, Beighton, Church Hill, Beighton - Broadland
Church dated as C14-C15 but possibly earlier. Medieval scissor-braced and thatched nave roof was in poor condition. Fine internal features including medieval wall paintings, decoration and consecration cross. The National Lottery Heritage Fund awarded a Grants for Places of Worship in 2016, but the project development failed to gain an offer towards the repair work. Work to the wall painting, funded by Historic England's Covid 19 emergency grant, is underway. Condition of church building much improved.
