Church of St Clement, Hulton Street, Salford - Salford
A brick built large urban church by Paley & Austin, dated 1877. Gothic style, with large five-bay nave, north and south side aisles and two-bay east chancel. Modern 1980s re-ordering internally. Three phases of repair work have been undertaken to repair and re-roof the entire church, with grants from Historic England / National Lottery Heritage Fund Repair Grants for Places of Worship scheme. A phase of external terracotta tracery repair has recently been completed and a Minor Repair Grant from the Taylor Review Pilot was received in 2019 to help with the gutter maintenance.
