Former Board School, Cormont Road SE5 9RF SE5 - Lambeth

A large symmetrical building of 7 sections built in 1912 by TJ Bailey with complex roofs including spirelets, dressings of red brick, stone and terracotta, varied windows and wall enrichment. It became the Kennington Boys’ School and later the Charles Edward Brooke Girls' School before becoming vacant following the relocation of the school. The Local Authority commissioned a condition survey in March 2016. Water ingress has caused significant internal damage and works to make the building wind and weathertight are yet to commence. No future use has been identified.
