Church of St Matthew, Main Street, Normanton on Trent - Bassetlaw

Parish church C13-C15 constructed of coursed rubble and ashlar. Restored C19 and C20. The church was subject to heritage crime in 2019 and the interior suffered from subsequent water ingress. The interior remains damp. The tower roof is nearing the end of its life. Some pointing and isolated masonry repairs are required. The church undertook a programme of repairs in early 2020 and is keen to undertake further repairs once potential funding avenues are available.
