Church of St Peter and St Paul, Market Place, Blandford Forum - Dorset (UA)
This church is a prime example of Georgian church architecture outside London. It was rebuilt after a fire between 1732 and 1739 to designs by John and William Bastard. The external stonework is in poor condition and there has been water ingress to the interior causing damage to the plaster work. A Development grant was awarded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund in January 2019 for repairs works to nave roof, parapet gutters, high level masonry and internal plasterwork. Repair work completed in Autumn 2022.
