Church of St Michael, The Street, Roxwell - Chelmsford
St Michael's Roxwell is a medieval church of probable C14 date but much restored in C19. Flint rubble with stone dressings, tiled roofs, timber porch and bell turret, shingled spire. The roof tiling has loosened in places and there is continuing leakage. Parish in late stages of delivering National Lottery Heritage Fund have funded nave roof project. The Parish are seeking further grants for a final phase towards Chancel and vestry roof repairs, which if successful will be completed in 2024/5.
