Church of St Michael, The Street, Roxwell - Chelmsford

St Michael's Roxwell is a medieval church of probable C14 date but much restored in C19. Flint rubble with stone dressings, tiled roofs, timber porch and bell turret, shingled spire. The roof tiling has loosened and tiles are slipping. Evidence of continuing internal leakage. Roofs investigated and priority areas established. Parishioners considering issues and possible solutions which involve wider community involvement and will be meeting end July 2019, to discuss next steps.
