Church of All Saints, Daventry Road, Norton - West Northamptonshire (UA)
A large ironstone church, with C13 tower. Its C16 and C17 history is connected with Norton Hall which was demolished 1945. Internally a fine C18 three-storey west screen, as high as the nave, with various monuments. South aisle stained glass by Willement c1850. The condition of high-level stonework is very bad, and below ground rainwater disposal is not functional and urgently needs repair. The condition of the windows is poor with broken glass and deteriorating stonework. The interior is damp. The church was subject to heritage crime in 2018.
