Church of St Leonard, Streatham High Road, Streatham SW16 - Lambeth

Designed by J Parkin, built 1841, chancel added 1862 by Benjamin Ferrey. The lower tower and spiral stair date from mid C14. The church was burnt out in 1975; repaired and re-ordered by Douglas Feast. The aisle and nave roofs have been re-slated and the flat roofs either side of the tower re-covered along with stucco repairs to the north side in 2015 and the south side in 2018, both with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Works to underpin and repair the north porch were completed in 2019. Historic England awarded a Covid-19 response grant to repair the stained-glass windows.
