Kingsley Hall, 59, Old Market Street - Bristol, City of (UA)
Built 1706 and restored late C19. Early Georgian style and the only Bristol example of a style of urban architecture more common in other south-west towns, such as Butterwalks of Totnes and Dartmouth. Brick-clad timber frame with limestone dressings. Ground floor set back beneath overhanging upper storeys, supported on columns. Roofs and external fabric in vulnerable condition. The Kingsley Hall Heritage Project is underway having secured Stage 1 funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund which is match funded by Project Development funding from Historic England.
