Church of the Good Shepherd, Thackery's Lane, Woodthorpe - Gedling
Significant modern concrete church designed on Liturgical Movement principles with stained glass windows by Patrick Reyntiens. The church is suffering severe concrete decay requiring urgent specialist attention to avoid loss of historic fabric. An extensive programme of grant-assisted repairs, jointly funded by Historic England and National Lottery Heritage Fund, successfully renewed complex roofing and ensured concrete facing panels were safe and weather tight but mullions and glazing require further extensive repairs, Historic England technical staff visited in late 2021. Progress unknown.
