Church of St Peter, St Peter's Road, Leicester - Leicester, City of (UA)

Urban church of 1872-79 by GE Street in a Gothic style. By 2014, tower masonry and roof coverings were in poor condition and a fan scaffold has been erected over the west door to protect visitors from falling fragments. A first phase of repairs has been completed with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund under the Grants for Places of Worship scheme and a second phase is planned for 2019. There are broader and considerable repair needs and a desire by the congregation to re-order.
