Haydon Old Church, Old Haydon, Haydon - Northumberland (UA)
Former parish church, still used for occasional worship, with C12 chancel and C14 south chapel. With a grant from the Covid-19 Emergency Heritage at Risk Response Fund, gutters and rainwater pipes were replaced with appropriately sized cast iron sections; external ground levels were lowered at north and west sides; the drainage system was improved; timber fascia boards were replaced at eaves level; external walls were repointed and water tables re-laid. The stone slated roof is in poor condition and in need of replacement. Discussions are underway about enhancing the building's future use.
