Church of St Andrew, High Road, Willesden Green NW10 - Brent

Designed by James Brooks and built in 1885 in red brick with stone dressings and steeply pitched slated roofs. There is a small bell turret with a slate clad fleche over the crossing. Brooks also designed the adjacent grade II vicarage. The church suffers from cracking, some severe, mainly at the eastern end. Potentially loose stones internally have been pinned to secure them and the church is undergoing monitoring and various investigations in order to ascertain the cause of movement which is resulting in the cracking.
