Church of St Thomas, Helmshore Road, Haslingden - Rossendale
Commissioners' Church of 1850-57 by EH Shellard. Rock-faced sandstone, two span slate roof, Decorated style with reticulated tracery. Concerns over the tower, which is saturated. The wooden flooring is rotten and the interior plaster is wet in places. Some works of repair have been carried out, and the congregation has undertaken further investigative work on the tower and intends to draw up a plan of action.
