Church of St Thomas, Helmshore Road, Haslingden - Rossendale
Commissioners' Church of 1850-57 by EH Shellard. Rock-faced sandstone, two span slate roof, Decorated style with reticulated tracery. Concerns over the tower, which is saturated. The wooden flooring is rotten and the interior plaster is wet in places. An application for grant funding has been made to the National Lottery Heritage Fund's Grants for Places of Worship scheme.
