Church of St John the Baptist, Oxenton - Tewkesbury
Parish church. C13, C14 and C15, restored 1905. Nave and chancel coursed limestone rubble except the south wall of chancel which is coursed squared and dressed limestone. Porch and north aisle also coursed squared and dressed limestone. Tower and mortuary chapel: ashlar; stone slate roof. Nave with north aisle with mortuary chapel at right angles, chancel and west tower. The key issue is the decay of the interior plaster and the threat that this poses to the wall paintings.
