St Mary's in the Marketplace, Churchgate, Stockport - Stockport

Large market place parish church. The east end chancel is medieval in origin, with much of the rest rebuilt in the C19 in a mostly Gothic style. There have been several phases of repair work to the tower and chancel arch. Some Vestry repairs were completed in 2016. Further phases of work required to: unstable side aisle pinnacles; the parapet walls and the corroded gallery window ferramenta.
