Former Samaritans Hospital for Women, 161 Marylebone Road NW1 NW1 - Westminster, City of

Hospital building dating from 1889-90 by WC Habershon and F Fawkner. Bold classical style building with a symmetrical front incorporating a giant pilaster order and faced in red brick and terracotta with a slate roof. Vacant and in need of internal repair and conservation and with plant growth on the external elevations. Repair works have been progressed (2024) on site seeking to make the building watetight but discussions are ongoing with regards to its refurbishment and long term use.
