Church of St Mary including church rooms and surrounding wall, Regent Road, Great Yarmouth - Great Yarmouth
Roman Catholic church, Perpendicular style with late decorated features, built 1848-1850 by JJ Scoles for the Society of Jesus. Built of knapped flint with limestone ashlar dressings. First tranche of work 2011 to stabilise west end and re-roof presbytery link; now complete. Chancel, sacristy; north and south chapels being recovered with Welsh slates; new rainwater downpipes and gutters with contribution from the Historic England Cultural Recovery Capital Works Fund. Painted decoration at east end very much at risk and requires urgent conservation to prevent loss.
